The Knuckles Mountain Range lies in the Hill Country of Sri Lanka at an elevation of 915 Meters and above sea level and encompasses an area of around 234 Square kilometers of land. The mountain range has five distinctly clear peaks, that almost look like the knuckles of a clenched fist . the Sinhalese name for the mountain is ‘Dumbara Kanduvetiya’ meaning mist-laden mountain. The mountain range is 180 kilometers away and a 5 hour drive from Colombo.
