Moon Plains is a new attraction which is steadily gaining attention from tourists as well as locals. Moon plains Or in Sinhalese ‘Sandathenna’ is a central plain located in Nuwara Eliya. It is a vast greenland surrounded by forest reserve, tea estates, vegetable farmlands. It is a 10 min drive from Nuwara Eliya. The main attraction of Moon Plains is the mini Worlds End at the edge of the plain, which gives a 360 Degree view of the surrounding mountain peaks and distant farmlands.
