Wadduwa
Wadduwa is a suburban area of Panadura and is situated in the western coast of Sri Lanka lying 33 km south of Colombo city center and bordering the south of Panadura. Wadduwa is famous for the cultivation of coconut palms and by-products made from coconut fiber and also is a major producer of toddy and vinegar. There are few historical places in the area such as ancient Buddhist temples. The Blue water hotel resort designed by world renowned architect Geoffrey Bawa is in Wadduwa. There are many authentic Ayurveda spa’s and retreats in Wadduwa.
